Lime Kilns Celebration -- Saturday June 26
You are cordially
invited to attend a celebration of our recent achievements in the Limehouse
Conservation Area to be held on Saturday, June 26 from 10 am til noon.
We will be gathering at Limehouse Memorial Hall then conducting short
20 minute hikes to showcase our new interpretive signage at the kiosk
as well as trail enhancement and new fencing to highlight the progress
of the majestic draw kiln.
Please join us with our partners - the town of Halton Hills and Credit
Valley Conservation for this special day. Of course you are free to hike
up to the ball diamond to see similar new signage at the kiosk leading
into the Bruce Trail. The early industrial history of Limehouse will now
be available to all who hike the trail.

Saturday, October 23
The Annual General
Meeting for the Limehouse Kiln Society will be held on Saturday, October
23 at Limehouse Memorial Hall from 10 am until noon. A guided walk will
be offered after the meeting for those who were unable to attend the June
celebration.
