The Limehouse Kiln Society is a group of Limehouse Citizens,Officials of Municipal Government and Provincial Agencies as well as Representatives of Local Business committed to promoting and preserving the historical significance of the Lime Kilns located in and near the Village of Limehouse, Ontario, Canada.

The Society's goal is to preserve and interpret a significant and overlooked aspect of Ontario's and Canada's settlement and industrial history for the benefit of current and future residents and visitors to Limehouse and the Municipality of Halton Hills.

Together with the Town of Halton Hills, Credit Valley Conservation, the Niagara Escarpment Commission and the Bruce Trail Association, the Society hopes to provide a model project exemplifying best practices in natural and cultural resource conservation and management.

This site is designed to inform the Society's members, future members and the public about the work of the Society, the history of the Limehouse kilns, and the ongoing work in preserving them.
